Project 1

Module 1

During the process, I discovered that many of my ideas couldn't be realized. I tried alternative methods, but the results were unsatisfactory. This assignment taught me that learning the software first is more important than jumping straight into using it.

Project 1 Models

Published 3D Model 1

This is the right half of my Switch's Joy-Con controller, which I use for gaming. Its structure is interesting to model because it can be held vertically or horizontally.

Published 3D Model 2

This is a toy from McDonald's collaboration with Minecraft, bringing the game's signature blocky aesthetic into the real world. It's simple to model and quite fun.

Published 3D Model 3

This is a controller that combines two Joy-Cons into one unit. I chose it because its structure isn't a simple rectangle or circle. This required me to employ numerous modeling techniques during the process.
